It is true that Pala can set whatever policies it wants for it's customers, but that is one of the worst policies for children I have ever heard. I can't see any other reason for charging full price for babies other than to dissuade families from dining in its restaurant. Message received and understood. I will be sure to pass on this message to others as well with every opportunity that I am given.

I will no longer be a patron of Pala for food or entertainment That said, the food at the buffet was the usual Good bye and good riddance! I went there to celebrate my sister's birthday. I arrived at 3: I finally stood in line at 4: We were seated in the far back corner - a long distance to walk to the buffet, but well worth it since it was much more quiet and roomier.

I'm not a huge fan of buffets, but this one seem to have everything for everyone. They had several variety of lobsters. I particularly loved the little steamed ones tail only. Then just the claws cooked in butter- but I couldn't have those. Word of advice - if you are lactose intolerant then ask any of the chefs for lobster without butter and they will gladly bring it to you.

The oysters were fresh and were constantly replenished. I think that's where I got my money's worth. They had 2 types of snow crab legs cold and steamed - not such a fan so I only had one set of legs.

As for everything else, I didn't touch since I have many food allergies. I did walk by the dessert bar and wanted to fall over because everything looked so amazing - I just stood there staring for a long moment. They even had a real ice cream bar, which someone actually scoops it into a cup for you, not one of those DIY watery yogurt maker messy machine.

The staff was really great - I asked one of the main chefs about the lobster and he was very quick to respond with a positive attitude. Our waitress kept an eye on my sister when she was windy down on her dinner, then they bought a group of people over with a slice of cake and sang her a birthday wish. Throughout our dinner, she was constantly taking our empty plates, filling our drinks, and handing us stacks of paper napkins.

All in all, I liked the atmosphere, the staff, the cleanliness factor, the variety, and the amount they are willing to serve on each plate, so I don't have to walk back a thousand times.
