Mike's Poker Blog

Seems that me previous post helped me, cause today I'm on my way back up. The last 1,5 year it got much tougher, mostly because the ratio between regs and donks has gotten a lot worser. Sep 24th, , The things I changed are mostly about position, which offcourse is one of the most important aspects in poker, but also a lot of players are just terrible at it, although they probably know how important it is, they just don't use it good enough. In his recent post he mentions getting a case of Fiji water for 11 dollars, anyone know where or how hes doing so? Add Decatur to Rail Reply Quote 9.

Smugglers of Fiji water sell it for cheap here in the States. This is obviously a lie concocted to get people to keep reading his blog.

So I wrote a blog entry for my non-existent blog Aug 25th, , Aug 10th, , Oct 19th, , Mijn volledige profiel weergeven. It's been a while since I updated my blog. Not because I stopped playing poker, although I didn't play much the last couple weeks, but just because I didn't had much inspiration to write something.

But it seems that at least some people like to read it, so I decided to give it a shot again. I've been playing full-time poker now for exactly 4 years and the games have changed a lot since I started. The last 1,5 year it got much tougher, mostly because the ratio between regs and donks has gotten a lot worser.

So i'm quite proud that I managed to have only one losing month out of Since the beginning of this year I'm not playing full-time anymore. So I was lucky to get a nice offer to work for a friend of mine for 2 days a week. It's an internetcompany www. I will be doing some financial analytical things there which suits perfectly with my education.

By working 2 days I can still enjoy my freedom one of the main reasons I started playing full-time , but I also have the challenge of a job again, with colleagues and all the other normal stuff I missed while working alone. I will still be playing poker on those other days and I might play some live tournaments as well, although I don't know which one yet.

Let's see if I can update this blog more regularly as well Gepost door Maurice op 3: I started the month off good except for Full Tilt, where I keep running terrible. Games really seem to be getting better the past week after it was really quit the past 3 months. Ive played k hands there now and Im still losing with all my premiums except AA preflop allins. Here's the updated graph again: This is how it could be when you run hot like I do on Everest Gepost door Maurice op 1: Finally it seems Im running somewhat better on Full Tilt.

Running a little better offcourse helps, but I also have the feeling that im getting to know them and that my change in gameplan helped to improve my game and results. So far this month just 2 weeks for me Im up 30 buyins which is ok. I also found out that this is my 50th month as 'winning' poker player.

In those 50 months I only lost money in cashgames in one month, so im quite happy with those results, hope I can do a little better in the next 50 ;- Here's the updated graph with preflop allins: Gepost door Maurice op 5:
